Build Capacity Colorado
Build Capacity Colorado (BCC) is a project of the Nonprofit Empowerment Center (NEC) of The Partnership for Families & Children. Through BCC, the NEC is working with grassroots faith-based and community organizations throughout three regions of Colorado. The intent of the project is to equip organizations with capacity building tools and knowledge in order to help increase organizational sustainability.
The Nonprofit Empowerment Center is one of four centers of service delivery within The Partnership for Families & Children. The NEC is devoted to helping organizations better serve their constituents and meet their full potential by facilitating value-driven, inclusive processes to strengthen organizational capacity.
Build Capacity Colorado (BCC) is a project of the NEC. Funded by the Compassion Capital Fund (CCF) of the US Department of Health and Human Services, the BCC project aims to equip Colorado nonprofits with capacity building tools and knowledge in order to help increase organizational sustainability. All nine BCC organizations are engaged in providing services to one or more of the following groups:

- low-income individuals and families in need of financial education, credit counseling and access to individual development accounts and other asset building strategies
- the homeless
- elders in need
- families in transition from welfare to work
